Potential 365 Fitness Licensees must have prior business ownership experience and/or management skills, along with a personal drive for success. An extensive knowledge of financial management and accounting principles is also highly recommended. We also recommend that you develop a comprehensive business plan for the market that you intend to develop.

Eligible candidates must have a net worth in excess of $400,000 with a minimum of $200,000 in liquid assets. These figures may vary based upon the size of your proposed location and the development costs in your area.

Basic Licensee Parameters

1.  Minimum size for a 365 Fitness facility is 8,000 square feet.

2.  Basic costs to cover lease, leasehold improvements, equipment, insurance, advertising and payroll for the first few months of operation for a small to medium size gym (8,000 to 15,000 sq ft) could run between $375,000 to $725,000. 

3.  The only amount paid to 365 Fitness is the annual license fee.  Current fees for a five-year license agreement are $1.00 for the first year and $8,000 each for the second, third, fourth and fifth years.

4.  The market radius (subject to the density) surrounding the gym location should have a population of 80,000 to 100,000 people.
